JOIN THE BLUE — 2024
Context: Schmidt Family of Companies has real estate offices across the country, the office I was at in Grand Rapids, Michigan was looking for a new way to attract potential agents to recruit to Coldwell Banker. In the past, they used small simple note cards but didn’t see any leads come from it. They were looking for something new and eye-catching to attract new agents.
Process: Working closely with the office manager, we determined what type of information we’d want in the material. I worked with collecting the information and considered several types of materials that could be eye catching to future agents. I chose a square trifold brochure, it would provide enough space for more information and imagery while adding more intrigue by being something someone would handle by unfolding it, revealing more information as they go. After gathering the information I created a layout, focusing heavily on the order to put the information, taking in consideration how the brochure would open.
Solution: By creating an interactive brochure, I successfully created a material my office felt confident in its ability to attract new recruits. The brochure complimented all the best aspects of the company with attractive imagery to partner with the information. Still in use, the brochure has caught the attention of both new realtors and leadership.
